I am delighted to induct Mr. Tim Wright as the July inductee in the Order of the Golden Slacker.

It is an honor to induct Tim Wright into the Order of the Golden Slacker.

Tim Wright provides a culture to engage. He provides tips, examples, and how-to insights to grow the employee engagement culture you want for your company. I have had a few personal conversations with Tim and I am very impressed with his range of thinking, his sincerity, his caring, and his spiritual foundation. By the way, to me spiritual does not necessarily mean religious it means a focus on something greater than yourself and Tim has focused on making the culture of the workplace engaging for all employees.

A Quick Review/Reminder of the attributes of Slacker Managers:

2. focus on smarter not harder work
3. ensure that work is effective and efficient

5. commit to both personal and professional development
6. draw out the strengths of others and themselves
7. transform “me thinking” to “we thinking”

10. engage in lifelong learning in diverse and multiple ways
11. value giving and serving ahead of taking and being served
12. willingly admit when they don’t know something
13. use all available resources
14. laugh as leaders - taking work seriously and themselves lightly

I believe Tim more than fulfills the above listed attributes and provides a fine model for any manager.
