Management: Are you ready for the Red Monkey?
Jef Staes wrote, My Organisation is a Jungle.
Jef outlines red monkey innovation management.

In a future post I will review the book but for now, here are some tidb its Jef sent to me about the Red Monkey:
- A Red Monkey is an idea, not a person
- A Red Monkey is most of the time born out of a conversation (open innovation) between different ecosystems ( organizations, companies, ages, …)
- A Red Monkey is controversial and is cause for conflict , if not then it was just an improvement.
- Not all Red Monkeys are good ideas by definition, but real Red Monkeys ought to get a chance at survival
- Red Monkeys are killed by Red Monkey Hunters, and created by Red Monkey Breeders
- A Red Monkey that survives a conflict results in innovation
- Most of today’s organisations aren’t build to be sympathetic to Red Monkeys

Red monkeys and 3D management are a must for reading… I love the simplicity in the complexity of conflict for change and innovation… Just be carefull in ordering the book in dutch directly from the publisher… I paid + a lot of postage but never received the book in Serbia… even after complaints.

In honesty I have to admit that I made a mistake on commenting the book delivery… I mixed up with the book “Creativity today” from BIS Publishers… p.s. they even do not reply on my mails
