The 3 Question Strength Assessment: How Strong Are You At Work?
Zinger Survey: Are you into the strong stuff at work?
How strong are you at work and is your workplace a place for strengths?
- Have you ”Gallup’ed” into your strengths or are you still at the strength starting gate?
- Have you outlined your strengths as proposed by Peter Drucker or do you avoid strength-focused conversations at work?
- Have you practiced what Marcus Buckingham advocates by looking at what engages you the most to determine your strengths or are you puzzled that I would even put the words strength and work in the same sentence?
- Have you completed the Values In Action Strength Inventory or do believe that happiness can only be found outside of work?
Click Here or on the figure below to take a fast 3 question survey about the relationship between your strengths and your work. The results will be published early in June at www.slackermanager.com.

David,
This is a nice, quick, but meaningful thought-provoker that I hope people will pause and ponder.
As for the “happiness” part: I think I’ve concluded that, for adults, happiness at work is a function of satisfaction; otherwise, it’s a momentary response to a momentary experience.
All the more reason to “do the work” and make sure your talents and strengths are identified and used as much as possible.

Steve:
Thanks for the comments. I think we can be happy but not yet satisfied yet this would be very rare. I am happy using my strengths in the service of others.
