Day 5 & 6: The 12 Days of Management

Welcome back to part 3 the 12 days of management. Our series will end on the 25th of December.

Each post has 2 days of management:

  • The odd number days focus on what I receive from my manager
  • The even days focus on what my employee give to me. 

Day 5: On the fifth day of management my manager gave to me an assement of my 5 signature strengths. She gave me the opportunity to list and leverage my strengths. I was strengthened by using my strengths and the workplace got the best of me as I used my strengths in the service of the organization.

Day 6: On the sixth day of management my employees gave to me: 6 strong hours of work and effort. We can’t always be on and we can’t effectively work 24/7 so I feel it is a gift when employees are able to engage in strong focused work for 6 key hours each working day.
