Don’t be a turkey, give thanks
Canada celebrated Thanksgiving day a month earlier than the United States. We had Thanksgiving celebrations yesterday.
My question today is: Are you a turkey as a manager trying to gobble up all the credit or do you feast on thanks. I encourage you to think of the people you need to thank and to find a way to publicly acknowledge them.
Here are some of the people I would like to thank on Slacker Manager:
Phil Gerbyshak for his partnership and his willingness to talk about how he dresses.
Brendon Connelly for starting Slacker Manager and his willingness to pass it on.
B5 Media for giving us the reigns of Slacker Manager.
MY FAMILY (Susan, Jack, Katharine, and Luke) for giving me the time to write my Slacker Manager posts.
John Junson for contributing his artwork to the images of Slacker Managers.
Lisa Haneberg for accepting the first Order of the Golden Slacker and appreciating the pearls on the female slacker.
Kelly Phillips, our channel producer, and Douglas Hanna, our first producer, at B5 Media.
YOU. The most important person I want to thank is YOU. Without you there is no reason for Slacker Manager. For those of you who subscribe thank you for your ongoing support. For those of you who comment, thanks for going the extra “clicks and comments.”
And now the gratitude baton has been passed to you:
Who do you need to thank for where you are?
Don’t just ask the question of yourself, answer it by letting the people you need to thank know it now.
David is full of gratitude and turkey!
