MindMeister out of beta
Just learned that MindMeister (web-based mindmapping app) is out of beta testing and ready for everyone!
Aside from the original analog method of mindmapping (paper and pencil), this is probably the best way to ease into a good understanding of the power of mindmaps. For those of us who are a little more experienced with mindmapping, MindMeister’s ability to share and collaborate on maps is killer–nothing better (mindmapping-wise) than collaborating on a map with other experienced mappers. You can get a lot done in short order.
Sounds like the user interface has been tweaked and they’ve beefed up the feature set a bit. MindMeister is a sweet app and worth checking out if you didn’t get in on the beta test. They’re offering a free version and a premium version, as well as fully functional demo to get your mouth watering. The free version will probably satisfy most folks, but the ability to have unlimited maps and the ability to export to Freemind and Mindmanager are very, very compelling for the power-user.

I’m a real fan of FreeMind, and this tool is wonderful! One of the things I’ve wanted for a long time is to be able to edit my mind maps from any computer. Now I can. Thanks for the info!
