Self flagellation by podcast
I’ve been a guest on a couple of podcasts recently. I hesitate to mention this because invariably I sound like a dork. Of course, this should not surprise anybody, least of all me. Regardless, I still think I tend to ramble on while I try to invent answers to questions. I also say "ahh" and "umm" too much.
On, ahh, that, umm, note, here they are… First, I did one on BusinessBlogCasting with Rob May, Laurence Haughton and Lisa Haneberg. The topic was the recent furor over performance appraisals. Listen closely as I grasp at straws while Lisa holds forth with overwhelming knowledge of the topic. :-)
More recently (okay, last Friday), I was grilled by Wayne for The Cranky Middle Manager. If you click through to his post, you’ll see that he did a great job of interpreting my incoherent ramblings wherein I couldn’t remember Skip’s blog’s name, and I barely stuttered out Rosa’s blog’s name. Geez, I’m an idiot. At least I got Dwayne’s blog and Lisa’s blog right.
Eb, ebedeby, deeb, th..th…th…That’s All Folks!

Congratulations! I think you did very well! Audio quality of both podcasts was horrible though.

Now what was your blog again…something manager?…slacker something? No worries Bren, we all have our “brain farts” at times especially when you are being recorded. Thanks for the nod and it was a good interview!
And..if you are an idiot…I’m not sure what that makes me ;-)

Are you kidding? You were great. Remember, there have been very few perfect people in history, and look what happens to them.
