    Every time someone mentions contemplating his navel, I am drawn to reading the post or article. Mindfulness is a key tenet in most forms of meditation. I have found that after a morning meditation I am able to be more mindful and focus on the task at hand. The focus it allows makes work go faster and leaves me more mentally clear when I leave. A clear mindset makes me better able to pursue the things I enjoy with an unburdened mind.

    Brendon: First of all, congratulations to you and your Slacker Spouse on your new addition! I hope that the rest of the adoption process goes as smoothly for you as possible.

    As for the post at hand, I was very interested in the concept, probably because I find myself in somewhat similar straits. Your last two paragraphs look like you lost some of your thoughts in translation (or cutting and pasting ;-)), somewhere. I’m hoping you’ll complete those passages.
