Lifehackers is live
Just a quick pointer, for now, to the new Lifehacker site. It’s a freshly launched site from Gawker media that focuses on the little tips and tricks that make your ‘puting life easier. Purportedly easier, anyway. Lifehacker is edited by Gina Trapani, one of the smarties behind Kinja. And the very best thing about Lifehacker? Slacker Manager is in the "Recommended" list…which is kinda unnerving actually, considering the company. But cool.
If you like that stuff, you’ll probably like the lifehacks or lifehack tags in del.icio.us as well. Don’t know about del.icio.us? You’re gonna have to start with the GTD/Lifehacks roundup post…
Add Lifehacker to your feed reader now (here, just use this), while you’re thinking about it…good stuff.

Sadly, the ONLY good thing about lifehackers appears to be the links to other sites including your own esteemed contribution. Just how much intrusive advertising can one page hold? Its not a site I’ll be dipping into on a regular basis, unlike Slacker, 43f and Million Monkeys which are all a pleasure to read.

Yeah, they definitely squeeze the advertising in there. But that’s the case with all the Gawker/Weblogsinc corporate-style blogs. They’re supporting an entire office with those things.
Not that I’m being an apologist…my (eventual) point is that it makes the case for reading blogs via RSS. Though we’ll probably see ads in there too…
Regardless, glad you dig Slacker Manager anyway!
