80 books is a lot

by Bren on January 3rd, 2005

Over at the 800CEOREAD blog, Todd is getting ready to start posting a macker list of management books that he dredged out of what sounds like a college textbook from the Financial Times.  Should be an interesting list, which I can’t wait to see.

You know I loves me some books, but geez louise, 80 is a lot!  And they keep coming at a rate of what…something like 3,000 new titles a year or some crazy thing.  How can I be expected to keep up with that?  It’s a recipe for disappointment, I tell you.

There in no real good way to know how many business titles are put out each year. I heard a number of 21,000 books in 2004. That includes personal finance titles.
